Cookout at the Perrins. Sept 8 2018

The weather was great, the food was better, and the company was the best! We celebrated the end of summer by firing up the grill and we had a blast.  We hope you'll join us for our next cookout as old friends and new faces are always welcome whenever we get together!

1 Peter 3: 20-21

To those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On April 14th, 2019 Nick and Lucy Della Valle, Master Storytellers from Branson, Missouri, visited with us and shared a dramatic and gripping story of Blind Bartimaeus’ reaction to the crucifixion of Christ. Blind Bartimaeus is a story that reminds us we should never allow fear of failure and feelings of unworthiness stop us. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are, what condition or situation you are in, like Bartimaeus, we should never be content to let Jesus pass us by and passionately call out to him. Nick and Lucy travel all over the United States sharing their stories and they will tentatively be returning to the Charlotte County area in December!
